HII Demonstration Project: Pressure Swing Adsorption System

At Wild Hydrogen, we are dedicated to producing affordable, carbon-negative hydrogen by converting biogenic materials into clean fuels, while simultaneously removing carbon from the atmosphere.

With the support of the Hydrogen Innovation Initiative End-to-End Demonstration Programme, we are integrating a Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) system into our RiPR technology in collaboration with researchers from The University of Edinburgh. This demonstration aims to:

  • Purify synthesis gas and capture carbon dioxide
  • Produce high-calorific gas rich in hydrogen and methane
  • Enable transition fuel applications, including hydrogen-blended gas grids, internal combustion engines, and gas turbines.

Technology demonstrations like this are crucial for showcasing emerging innovations, proving their feasibility, refining performance, and accelerating adoption across industries. The insights gained from this project will help build market confidence, attract investment, and support the scaling of clean hydrogen solutions.

This is an essential step forward in our mission to drive clean energy innovation and achieve real-world impact. Stay tuned as we continue pushing the boundaries of decarbonisation.
