INNOVATION TO CULTIVATION
The circular economy
We’ve made significant progress with our prototypes, set exciting plans to exploit our disruptive technology and forged valuable collaborations with industrial partners.
This is all driven by our unwavering commitment to sustainability and the circular economy. Read on below to find out more.
AND NOT VERSUS
Food and fuel
At Wild Hydrogen, we’re redefining sustainable energy and food systems. Our RiPR technology has the potential to transform waste heat and carbon dioxide into resources for UK greenhouse agriculture, growing fresh produce while enhancing food security.
With our approach, there’s no food versus fuel dilemma – our technology actively supports food production, proving that renewable energy and agriculture can thrive together
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
Supporting food production
With our RiPR technology, fuel and food production can work in harmony. Waste heat and captured carbon dioxide from our RiPRs support greenhouse agriculture. Whilst agro waste from the farms in turn provides biogenic material for feedstock that can then be turned into hydrogen, biomethane and biochar. Through this relationship both outputs increase, and both the food and fuel economies are strengthened – enhancing food security.
REGENERATIVE FARMING
Sapperton Wilder
By seamlessly integrating herbal leys, a feedstock for our Wild Hydrogen technology, into food crop rotations, we’re demonstrating the potential of bioenergy whilst nurturing our ecosystems.
Our partnership with Sapperton Wilder aims to substantiate the viability of herbal leys as a regenerative bioenergy feedstock, whilst safeguarding food production.
GOING FORWARDS
Next steps
Our current seed round is a crucial step in advancing Wild Hydrogen’s mission. The funds raised will fuel critical research and development focused on the design and engineering of our 1 MW commercial demonstrator.
Following this, our focus will move to production and deploying larger RiPR units.
